Great Britain’s Double-Olympic gold medalist Mo Farah sets his sights on becoming Commonwealth Champion in Glasgow.

As the countdown to the Commonwealths begins Farah made the announcement on his twitter feed that he plans to compete in Glasgow.
“Haven’t decided which events to compete in: 1500m, 5,000m, 10,000m. Will let you know as soon as I decide.”

Less than a month after coming eighth at the London Marathon, Farah’s focus has now changed back to the track where he made his name. Despite criticism from high profile athletes for ‘stepping up’ too soon, the Brit has no regrets but has been advised by his coach Alberto Salazar not to run anymore marathons until the Olympics in Rio.

Depending on which event he decides to run, Farah could be in action on Sunday 27 July in the 5,000m, and Friday 1 August in the 10,000m or the 1500m
